What is Myofascial Release? ‘Myo’ means muscle and ‘fascia’ means band or sheet (in this case of connective tissue). Fascia is a 3D web connecting muscles and organs throughout our bodies. Fascia within our bodies can be affected by injury or trauma, either physical or emotional, repeated poor posture and inflammation. As the fascia is connected throughout the body any restrictions in the fascia is likely to impact other areas of the body. Myofascial release uses gentle techniques to rehydrate and release the fascia which helps decrease pain and aid mobility.
Do you cater for people with allergies? We do use some nut oils in the therapy room and as such we cannot guarantee nut / allergen free. There is also a small dog on the premises however, not in the treatment room.
What do you do with my information? The information you provide to us is used specifically to provide a safe treatment for you and as a legal requirement will be kept on record for 7 years after your last treatment with us. All your information is kept securely and is only seen by our therapists as relevant for your treatment/s. Information submitted for gift vouchers are used specifically to provide the voucher – a list of recipients will be kept but will not be contacted without their prior permission.
